Dont worry about brands....look for size and offset. Any good size/offset will be a good wheel If its and SSR and its a 6" with +35 off set its still garbage. on the other hand if you find some 9" wheels with closer to 0 offset grab it no matter what the brand. As a general rule anything sold retail in Japan at that time will prob be no larger than7 ", on the other hand any wheel with an agressive size was usually a special order and very desireable. Good luck, you must have a ton of dough cause i usually dump a pretty large bankroll everytime i go in less than a week!! :0

only got 1 Japanese friend in Japan, pay for hotel and still spend obscene amounts of money!!!
Have fun!!
northern parts of Tokyo have I-Parts, they are the best shops i have been to. Hasegawa and all the Autobacs are gay.

check out this site. it is a showcase of wheels wheels wheels. if you wana do ur homework, i highly recommend u check it out, jsut to get a glimpse of some rarities. like wat 86 said, look for 0 offsets, anything above 7"wide and diameters under 16. well, at lease for me, between 13 and 14" - 7 and 9" wide - 0 or lower offset. japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=605my fave
