ive never ever had to flash my i.d much less have it inspected. only time they might have looked at it was to make sure the face matched the i.d. when trading it for a helmet.
but if that the main underlaying reason why your concerned go to a monday night autox meeting and ask them in person.

Register. Tell the folks at the desk that you're a new autocrosser. They can answer your questions and may be able to point you to someone who will help you through your first event.
1. Sign the release waiver and put on a security wristband if you did not already do so at the gate.
2. Sign up for work assignment. Look for your class on the assignment sheets.
3. Present your driver's license and SCCA membership card -- these must be in your possession when you register.
4. Pay the registration fee ($30 as of 2008 in SFR, $45 for guests)
again...i dont know if its different for a school setting. besides, its always a good idea to have a license if you drive a car....no?

looks like there might not be enough people registering , if thats the case , the event will be cancelled for both days. if there is a good turnout they will have many more events in the future.

They are only doing registration online.... You can't do it at the fairgrounds.. the register person won't be present and so they can't have people sign up the day off...
And I am PRAYING they don't cancel... although...there is Just Drift day.... ha...

im guessing theyre allowing regristration on the sunday event, saturdays thing will be a locked event as in people who want to be in it.
they locked the gates around noon last time too, anybody who wanted to watch had to do it from beyond the gates.

The even is 60 for SCCA members, and 75 for non.
Saturday is the school with instructors, Sunday is for lap time. However the Sunday event doesn't count for points(or something like that....).
and again, you MUST email Brian(I believe that's his name) if you plan to sign up.. They are limiting the amount of people. The guy who normally does the registartion isn't gonna be there, and so he's trying to keep the amount of people who want to register the day of down.
Don't believe me? Find the Fresno SCCA yahoo group. its all in there.

that's right...test and tune... this is perfect for justin too...
its not really the gas prices...unless you mean for what you need for the event... I think its just because it is for the 2 days.. and that's how it always was I thought... around 60ish...

Take into account that its for 2 days. Plus its in Fresno, I think the price for getting on the track is fair at 60-75 bucks. I aint really trippin. Just be glad we prefer 4 cylinders and rotarys (at least most of us), rather than something over 4.8 liters hehehe (ya gas guzzelin big blocks).
